| Food Technology - Important Reminder |

All food pupils require an appropriate size container each time they cook so that they can take the food home to enjoy with their families. Please ensure that you have your name and form clearly labelled on the container
Recently we have experienced pupils taking the wrong food home and this causes upset to the student and their family.
A 2 litre container should be okay for most products but it does depend what they are making. If it is a large cake then a bigger one than this and if it is a fruit salad then much smaller! So appropriate to the product.
It would also be appreciated if parents could assist pupils with weighing out of ingredients at home as there is not sufficient time for this to be completed in the lesson. WantedAny unwanted cake storage tins/sweet tins that you may have at home would be greatly appreciated by the Food Technology Department so we can loan them to pupils who forget their container!
